Bundy Browne & Expresso is an Americana musical fusion combining Rhythm & Blues with Country - Bluegrass and hint of Reggae.
NOTES
Bundy Browne - Acoustic guitar, mandolin, vocals. Bundy began his professional career playing mandolin for the bay-area based country band, Shagbark Hickory. His musical styles can be traced back to Bluegrass and Blues. He’s played along side notable musicians such as Deacon Jones, John Lee Hooker, Robben Ford and Larry Carlton.

This CD was conceived after Neil Young's sound manager, John Nowland, heard Gary Gates and Rick Sigman playing acoustic at Alice's Restaurant in Woodside CA. He offered to record us live and thus this CD was born!

Expresso's debut album, "First Cup" was originally released on vinyl in 1982. Expresso's unique instrumental sound blends both acoustic and electric instruments creating a progressive mix of jazz / fusion and blues.
NOTES
When first released, "First Cup" received heavy airplay on KPEN, Northern California's top Jazz / Fusion radio station. Sales through Tower Records all over the Western US continually sold out. This led to opening for such bands as Tom Scott, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Alan Holdsworth, Robben Ford, Roy Buchanan, David Lindley and the Dixie Dregs.
